Here in the Mid West we are familiar with arctic blasts, sudden temperature plunges and freezing cold weather in general. (All of which are great reasons not to leave the house.) Since most of us can’t hibernate all winter long (sigh), snowy commutes, trips to the store and even stir-crazy walks in the winter woods are possible when suitably dressed. Snow pants and a full-body bunny suit may keep you toasty but aren’t the most fashion-friendly. So here are all the essentials you need to look cool even when it's freezing outside.
If there is one winter necessity you should have in your closet it’s a warm pair of knee-high boots (snow drifts are no joke around here.)
