The Diamond Glow facial is suitable for all skin types and tones because it’s customizable. Your aesthetician will select a gentler or coarser exfoliating diamond tip, depending on your skin’s sensitivity, and you’ll decide which condition-specific serum you want them to apply.
This pain-free skin-resurfacing treatment takes only about 30 minutes and has no downtime.

If you’re acne-prone, Diamond Glow treatment can exacerbate breakouts. You can choose the Pore Clarifying serum during your treatment to head off new pimples. (This is the serum I used.)
You may need four to six treatments (over two to three months) to get the maximum skin-health benefit.
What Happens During A Diamond Glow Treatment:
This facial combines exfoliation, extraction, and infusion— three key facial steps. That includes buffing away old, dead skin cells; removing dirt and oil from pores; and applying a potent serum that can now more easily penetrate.
The treatment’s innovation is that all three steps are performed simultaneously, a key difference from a HydraFacial. Infusing the skin at the time of exfoliation and extraction allows the serum’s active ingredients to go deeper, making them more effective.
Similar to a microdermabrasion treatment, Diamond Glow uses a motorized handpiece with a diamond tip to resurface your skin. That same handpiece simultaneously uses pneumatic force (aka vacuum suction) to clear away old cells and other debris from within pores, eliminating blackheads. As your surface skin is buffed away and your pores are cleared, the handpiece delivers a serum into your newly open pores.
After your treatment, you can see all the gunk that was removed in a tank attached to the handpiece. (My favorite part - the dead skin, toxins, pollution, makeup, and extractions.)
Which Diamond Glow Serum Should You Choose:
Topical skin-care serums are known for their ability to deliver powerful active ingredients to the skin, to effect targeted change. Each of the SkinMedica Pro-Infusion serums used during a Diamond Glow treatment is formulated to treat specific conditions.
The options include Pore Clarifying, Ultra Hydrating, Skin Brightening, and Vitamin C. The first three are intended to do as they say—clarify, hydrate, and brighten. As a skin-care ingredient, vitamin C evens out skin tone, boosts collagen production, and acts as an antioxidant to reduce cellular damage—making vitamin C serums powerful multitaskers. During your treatment, you can choose the serum that best suits your concerns or even ask for a combination of serums. All Pro-Infusions are sulphate/sulphite-free, paraben-free and fragrance-free.
What To Expect After a Diamond Glow Treatment:
Brighter, fresher, healthier, smoother, clearer, more even skin tone, and texture. You’ll see increased radiance and suppleness immediately after each session. Your skin should feel clean, and look clear.
As far as side effects go, you might look a little red from the vacuum pressure, but that should subside very quickly. Post procedure you should avoid wearing makeup the rest of the day. If you can and avoid hot water, swimming, jacuzzi, steam treatments, and hot yoga type of exercise. You also don’t need to wash your face for 24 hours after the treatment.
It will take multiple treatments to see a marked improvement in some skin issues, such as fine lines and dark spots of discoloration, as those can go several layers deep.

How Much Does A Diamond Glow Treatment Cost?
One single treatment can cost between $150-$300 (based on national average). The cost of your Diamond Glow will depend on your specific location, the size of the treated area, and the experience level of your provider.

DIAMOND GLOW TREATMENT REVIEW:
I have had two DG treatments over the last two months, and love my results so far. I highly recommend! I love a good facial, but the Diamond Glow at Reve gives you immediate results - so hydrated, soft and plump! I used the Pore Clarifying serum to help combat my acne / mask-ne. I also have Perioral Dermatitis flair ups, and felt like DG helped clear up my skin, especially around my chin and mouth where my breakouts happen the worst.
Overall my skin has felt smoother, clearer and glowing. I noticed under my eyes looks brighter and not sunken. I noticed a big difference in the amount of breakouts around my mouth and hairline, which I attest to the DG deep clean! Clear pores not only look amazing, they feel amazing. Mask wearing has been rough on my skin. I try to go make-up free most days and since my second Diamond Glow I am feeling much more confident in wearing my naked skin. Rob has commented multiple times on how good it looks! (He sees me to most mask- free and makeup free - so him noticing is major!)

I’m 34 and I’m ready for a grown up medical grade skin care regiment. Time to work a little harder for good skin! I am notorious for trying and jumping around from different skin products, but am going to try to stick to this one since I see it working!
